Overview

The existing Listed building was based on the classic traditional layout, with two rooms on either side of the main entrance hall, that leads outside to an enclosed internal courtyard at the back. The client required an additional room, which was designed as a contemporary structure and placed at the opposite side of the courtyard. The renovation and the valuable government funding were achieved through a difficult licensing procedure.
